Reef Kayaks offer an exciting mix of many of the features of the Sevylor Colorado and Sevylor Dive Yak Models.
Reef 105 is a versatile Hybrid sit on top Kayak. Ideal for snorkelling, DIVING & exploring. Shallow cockpit design and raised side chambers for stability. The construction consists of a tough nylon outer shell over the inner chambers.
Reef 105 is great for surf, exploring rocky coasts and launching through surf. No other inflatable Kayak we have used is as stable in the water. The raised bow and the crafts stiffness when inflated enable it to zip over waves and white water foam. The quality adjustable seat affords superb back support and has a storage compartment.
The adjustable positioning foot rest facilitates selection of the most comfortable paddling position and really does help when the in water situation demands a vigorous approach, also helps you stay in the Kayak should you misjudge your position in the surf!
The underside picture (REEF 105) shows the long strakes that are attached to the hull that really do help the Reef Models track in a straight line. The tough underside is able to withstand most abrasions, even the see through bow window is remarkably strong.
